Our beautiful campers come fully equipped with everything you need insurance, breakdown cover, as well as a hamper of tea, coffee and games to make certain your experience of camping remains relaxing and hassle free.

With so many great campsites along the coastline from Hunstanton round to Dunwich, theres is something for everyone, see our guide to Norfolk and Suffolk. We offer a pick up & drop off service from Kings Lynn Train Station/Bus Station, but this needs to be pre arranged and there is a charge. Or, we can store your car in our driveway for free

Our price is inclusive of:

  • Fully comprehensive insurance for one driver, additional driver £12 per day.
  • 24 Hour nationwide breakdown cover.
  • Free parking. Your car will be parked at your responsibility.
  • Full tank of petrol (which must be returned full, otherwise a charge will apply)
  • Bottle of camping gas.
  • All cooking gear, including cutlery and crockery for 4 people, pots, pans, kettle etc.
  • All camping gear, including mains hook up.

We can also provide extras such as, free standing awnings (these do not attach to the camper), camping chairs, cool box etc. Just let us know when making your booking.

If you are wanting to travel outside of East Anglia please let us know as we require at least a weeks booking.

Please note:

Weekend Festivals will be priced at High season weekends. (£450 or £550)
(We do not allow awnings for festivals)

If you find a cheaper quote for a similar camper, let us know and we will match the price and if we can beat it!


Before booking, can we come and see the campervans? Not a problem, you can come see us and decide which camper you think would suit you best, just contact us to arrange a time.

What are your opening hours? During April through to October we are here Mon-Fri 9am-6pm and are usually here the same time at weekends, just call ahead if you would like to see us outside of these hours.

What do we need to bring? All you need to bring is your bedding, towels, food, clothing and a sense of adventure!  We can provide extras such as champagne and chocolates or picnic hampers, just contact us!  Anything is possible.

Where can we go in the campers? Retro Campers Norfolk requires you to remain in Norfolk and Suffolk. If you would like to go further afield please contact us to discuss at least 5 weeks before your collection date. If this is possible we will then provide confirmation in writing. Please do not book a long distance trip without discussing and having confirmation in writing prior. If our trackers show that you have left Norfolk and Suffolk during your hire, you will lose your security deposit.

Are the campers easy to drive?As the campers are at least 40 years old, they do drive differently compared to a modern car.  After a few minutes and a drive down the road with Simon (the expert!) you will feel at home.

Does the insurance cover our belongings?No, the insurance provided only covers the vehicle.  We suggest taking out some holiday or travel insurance to cover your belongings on your holiday.

Are all the camper non-smoking?Yes, they are all non- smoking.

Can we bring our dog?We are very dog friendly – your dogs (and you) are very welcome to holiday in our campers. To keep our interiors looking pristine we ask that you bring along a dog bed or blanket, and to make sure that your dog isn't left alone in the campervan at anytime. We charge £50 per pet which covers an extra special clean for the Camper after the hire.
